Elham Zeinali, 42, was a highly respected nurse and hospital supervisor at Imam Ali Hospital in Kermanshah. She also served in a senior nursing role at the city's specialized cardiovascular hospital, where she devoted years to caring for patients with compassion, professionalism, and dedication.

On January 8, 2026, Elham was fatally shot near her home during the nationwide protests. Despite undergoing emergency surgery, she succumbed to her injuries two days later.

Following her death, authorities reportedly pressured her family to falsely attribute her killing to "armed terrorists" before releasing her body for burial.

Beyond her career, Elham was the pillar of her family. After the loss of her father, she cared for her elderly mother, who suffered from severe vision loss and diabetes, and supported her sister through kidney disease.

Remembered by colleagues as a skilled nurse with a generous heart, Elham Zeinali dedicated her life to healing others—until violence claimed her own.
