HWBN is proud to draw upon the many years of experience and expertise of its volunteer professionals to bring hope to others.

Professional Experience

Professional Experience

Dr. Niloufar Ahmad is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to women’s health and well-being. Her professional experience includes comprehensive women’s healthcare, pregnancy and childbirth, preventive gynecologic care, and supporting women through different stages of their lives.

Dr. Ahmad earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Through her medical career, she brings to HWBN not only professional knowledge and clinical experience, but also a deep understanding of the importance of compassionate care for individuals and families facing difficult transitions.

A Personal Connection

A Personal Connection to HWBN’s Mission

Dr. Ahmad’s commitment to HWBN’s humanitarian mission also has a deeply personal dimension. Her family left Iran when she was just a year old, and after several years abroad, she arrived in the United States at age seven. That early experience of displacement has given her a particular appreciation for the uncertainty and challenges faced by people who are forced to leave their homeland and begin their lives again in unfamiliar surroundings.

She understands how important it is to give hope to people of all ages—young and old—who have sought refuge and are looking for the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to continue their journey and rebuild their lives.

For Dr. Ahmad, that hope is not only about helping someone through a difficult moment. It is about helping people move forward, regain confidence and independence, and ultimately reach a point where they, too, can extend a hand to others in need.

Volunteer Contribution

Volunteering Her Expertise to HWBN

Dr. Ahmad generously contributes her professional knowledge and experience to Hope Without Borders Network (HWBN) on a voluntary and pro bono basis.

Supporting HWBN’s Humanitarian Mission

Her participation represents an essential part of the HWBN model: bringing together experienced physicians, psychologists, attorneys, educators, artists, technology professionals, and other specialists who are willing to contribute their expertise without charge, so that their knowledge and experience can benefit people who need help and hope.
